Galaxy S20 — 566 ppi, 480 dpi (xxhdpi)
The Galaxy S20 is the phone that introduced the 1440p-plus 20:9 era, with a 1440×3200 panel at 6.2 inches. Its ppi is genuinely high, and it was among the first mainstream devices where the default software density sat below the panel's native capability.

Density on the Galaxy S20
At native ppi the scale is 3×, but Samsung shipped the S20 with a default resolution setting that could be lowered in software — a reminder that the density Android reports is a configuration value, not a hardware constant.
What layout it actually gets
At the default setting the logical width is around 412 dp. If a user drops the display resolution to save battery, the physical pixels change but the dp layout is meant to stay the same, which is exactly the abstraction dp exists to provide.
Practical notes
This generation is the reason so many guides recommend wm density tweaks. If you follow one, note the value is in dpi, not in dp, and that it must be reset with 'wm density reset' rather than by rebooting.
